January Session

At Manchester University students find new focus with each new year by pursuing a single course of study during January session. It's a unique academic program that enables students to participate in, and concentrate on, one of the many classes offered on and off campus—and around the world.

Off-campus classes
In the past, off-campus January session courses have involved travel to exciting destinations including India, Russia, Greece, Central America, Mexico, Hawaii, and Florida. Off-campus courses closer to Indiana have also been offered during January.

On-campus classes
On-campus options include regular classes as well as January session special options. The normal January session student load is one course.

Costs
Full-time students in the fall or spring semester may enroll for January session without additional payment of basic tuition, general fee, and room and board costs. January session courses that involve travel and living off campus bear additional fees above the costs listed for basic tuition, general fee, room and board charges. These are indicated on the schedule of courses for the January session.
