Study Abroad

Studying abroad is an exciting opportunity to experience, understand, and contribute to different cultures around the globe. Manchester University students have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or full year, or for a shorter term during January or summer sessions. All programs are for academic credit.

Short-term, faculty-led study abroad courses vary each year with recent popular locations including: China, England, France, Ghana, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Spain. "The India Story" is a class that takes students to India for a three-week intensive study of Indian culture in all its aspects.

Semester and year programs provide Manchester students the opportunity to participate in the BCA Study Abroad program for residential study in: China, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Japan, Mexico, Northern Ireland, or Spain.

"I experienced the world! After taking a Jan Session trip to Italy in 2011, I studied abroad in Cheltenham, England for the Spring semester of 2012. In Italy I was able to experience art first hand and not just looking at it in a book. Being in England for a semester was the best decision I ever made! "
