Study Abroad

Studying abroad is an exciting opportunity to experience, understand, and contribute to different cultures around the globe. Manchester College students have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or full year, or for a shorter term during January or summer sessions. All programs are for academic credit.

Short-term, faculty-led study abroad courses vary each year with recent popular locations including: England, France, Ghana, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, and Spain. "The India Story" is a class that takes students to India for a three-week intensive study of Indian culture in all its aspects.

Semester and year programs provide Manchester students the opportunity to participate in the Brethren Colleges Abroad (BCA) program for residential study in: China, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Northern Ireland, or Spain.

"At Manchester, I found the world! Manchester College has not only allowed me to study abroad for my major, but also has allowed me to grow as a person. My experience has been absolutely amazing! Every day I got to soak in the Spanish culture while learning at the University of Barcelona."
