Elizabeth Arthur - Senior Admissions Counselor
Serving students in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties in Indiana and also in the State of Michigan, Elizabeth joined MU admissions after earning her bachelor's in liberal studies with concentrations in art and environmental studies from St. Francis University, '10. Elizabeth loves the sense of community on the MU campus and all of the big, beautiful trees. She has been a vegetarian for almost three years.

Jessica Bremer '11- Admissions Counselor,
Assistant Cross Country Coach, Assistant Track and Field Coach
Jessica graduated from Manchester in 2011 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and double minors in athletic training and coaching. Prior to joining Admissions, she was a graduate assistant coach at DePauw University where she worked towards her M.S. in Applied Health Science with a concentration in public health. She loves the feeling of home she found at MU and how many opportunities there were to meet friends from every discipline. This year she gets to work with Ohio and Southern Indiana and, as a former student-athlete, she will also assist with the cross-country and track and field teams. In any spare time she finds, she enjoys yoga, donuts, and documentaries.

Karen Case - Senior Admissions Counselor
Karen graduated with a B.G.S. in General Studies with a double minor in Communications and OLS from IPFW ’06, and a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Lourdes University Dec. ‘12. She is married to her high school sweetheart (a Manchester Alum), and they have 2 “children”: an English Mastiff who weighs almost 200 lbs. and a big Tom Cat (a stray that hung around Helman Hall her husband’s senior year). Karen is the 4th generation in her family to work for higher education.

Brandi Chauncey '01- Associate Director for Recruitment
Brandi graduated from Manchester with a B.S. in psychology in 2001 and earned her master’s in organizational leadership from St. Ambrose University in 2006. She leads the admissions counselors and serves transfer and mid-year start students. Brandi says that Manchester goes above and beyond to prepare students for the next step after college - and the success stories of our students/alumni doing so many amazing things around the globe make her proud to be a part of this community. She adds, "I have a cat named Jingles and a dog named Bella...Jingles Bella...we love Christmas at our house!"

Crystal Cully - Admissions Counselor
With a B.A. in theatre from IPFW ‘12 and a B.A. in sociology from IPFW ‘12, Crystal serves students in Western Indiana and Illinois. What she most likes about MU is that she has found that every individual she's met that works here shares the same passion and commitment to Manchester; she gets re-inspired every day that she comes to work and is so thankful to get to share what MU has to offer with prospective students. She says that TED Talks (TED.com) "rock my world!"

Keegan Gerlach '10 - Senior Admissions Counselor
Keegan is a 2010 graduate from Manchester University with a B.A. in exercise science and has been working in the Admissions Office since graduation. She loves the friendly community feel that students, staff and faculty create on the Manchester campus. Keegan works with students in the Indiana counties of Cass, Huntington, Fulton, Kosciusko, Miami, Noble, Wabash and Whitley. When not in the office, she loves watching tv show marathons.

Kyle Grubbs '12 - Admissions Counselor
Kyle is a 2012 graduate from Manchester with a B.A. in Spanish with a TESOL minor. She is serving students in Northwest Indiana, which includes Lake, Porter, La Porte, St. Joseph, and Starke counties. Her favorite part about Manchester is the fact that you can’t walk across campus without seeing someone you know. It goes along with the community feel that you will find at Manchester. Kyle’s passion for Manchester University has carried over from her time as a student. She hopes to help prospective students find their passion for Manchester and also hopes to help them become Spartans! Kyle loves to travel and would love the opportunity to return to Spain or Mexico.

Ange
Huffman - Assistant Director of Admissions, Central Indiana
Ange graduated from St. Joseph's College with a bachelor's degree in communications/ theater arts. She is an Assistant Director for Central Indiana with 8 years in admissions at Manchester. She describes MU as an eclectic campus filled with impact. She never tires of spreading the awesomeness of our University. Ange resides in Indianapolis with her husband where they spend their free time arguing about politics, religion, and bad reality TV shows.

Will Patch '07 - Senior Admissions Counselor
Will is a December 2007 graduate of Manchester University with a B.A/ in chemistry and is excited to be representing the Spartans again. He works with students from Ohio, Church of the Brethren and with Legacy students. He loved all of the opportunities he had here and the fantacstic people he met who were always friendly and willing to help. Will is one of 13 people in his family to attend Manchester. His parents met here and he met his wife here; and he says maybe someday his kids will meet their spouses here!

Brooke Walters ‘11 - Admissions Counselor
Brooke graduated from Manchester University in 2011 with a B.S. in psychology. Serving students from Southeast Indiana, Brooke notes that MU professors are amazing people inside the classroom and out. They are there to help students become the best in their field and they care about students’ personal lives, too. Many of them come to support students outside the classroom, such as athletic events, clubs and organizations. In her personal life, Brooke is obsessed with learning about animals…especially sea animals.
Shark Week is her favorite time of year (even over Christmas).
And she is addicted to McDonald’s sweet tea.

Sandy Bendsen '72- International Student Recruiter, Administrative Assistant for the Success Center
Sandy, a 1972 Manchester graduate with a B.S. in history education, has worked for Manchester since 1996. Traveling, and reading and writing mysteries are favorite pastimes. She is also a member of NAFSA and Rotary International. Sandy enjoys the connections she makes with students from all around the world. Be sure to check out the International Student web page.

Scott Ochander - Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing
As Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing for Manchester University, Scott serves as the University’s chief enrollment and marketing officer and oversees all enrollment marketing and communications operations for the main campus and the College of Pharmacy. Prior to Manchester, Scott was the Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Integrated Marketing & Communications at Valparaiso University. Additionally, Scott has held marketing leadership roles at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Battelle Memorial Institute, The Dow Chemical Company and Meredith Corporation. Scott graduated with a B.A. in marketing and a B.S. in music from Western Michigan University and holds an M.B.A. in marketing from Central Michigan University.

Adam Hohman '01 - Director of Admissions
Adam graduated from Manchester University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in biology-chemistry and a minor in environmental studies. He worked as a Residence Hall Director at MU for three years and then joined the Office of Admissions in 2004. He leads a terrific staff and is directly responsible for print publications, the admissions website, data management, and daily office operations.

Jill Biehl - Administrative Assistant
Jill coordinates campus visits, manages the communication flow to prospective students, is the primary receptionist, manages applicants’ files including applications and support documents and provides support for admissions counselors. Brad Higginson - Athletics Liaison
Brad Higginson enters his third year with the Spartans football program as an assistant coach working with the defensive backs. Higginson was a four-year starter at Kentucky Wesleyan as a free safety, where he was a D2football.com honorable mention All-American selection. He also spent two years with the men's basketball program at KWC. He graduated in 2007 with a degree in computer information systems, and went on to receive his master's in public administration from Gannon University, where he was a graduate assistant for two seasons.

Kim Reinoehl '98- Assistant Director of Admissions
Kim graduated from Manchester in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in English and minors in sociology and Spanish. She joined the Office of Admissions in the fall of 1998 and has had various roles over the years, including responsibility for on-campus admissions events including Scholarship Days and Spartan Days. She also coordinates the scholarship awarding process. Kim embraces Manchester's commitment to graduating students of ability and conviction. She ran cross country in high school and college and is now married to the MU head cross country/ track and field coach.

Heather Varner - Outreach Coordinator
Heather joined the Manchester Admissions team in the summer of 2007. Serving out of state students, she is responsible for completing files, speaking with new recruits, and coordinating calling campaigns. Heather is currently working on her B.A. in psychology. She enjoys the people and the campus of MU - the people are genuine and friendly, and the campus is beautiful! She loves peppermint oil and uses it for every ailment.

Keri Wakeland - Admissions Secretary
Keri joined the admissions office during the summer of 2003. She is primarily responsible for data entry which includes both prospective students and applicants, materials and publications inventory, back-up receptionist duties, and general support for the admissions counselors. Keri appreciates the relationships between MU faculty, staff and students; and when not working, she enjoys watching TV, occasionally knitting or crocheting, reading and walking for exercise.
