SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED BY MANCHESTER COLLEGE
Award Selection Criteria Amount of Award
Academic Scholarships Academic scholarships are awarded to first-time or transfer students who meet eligibility criteria, regardless of financial need. Recipients must be accepted, enrolled full time, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 for renewal. A student may receive only one Manchester University academic scholarship at a time.

Presidential Scholarship College Prep GPA, Class rank, Curriculum, Test score Up to $16,500/year
Dean's Scholarship College Prep GPA, Class rank, Curriculum, Test score Up to $14,500/year
Faculty Scholarship College Prep GPA, Class rank, Curriculum, Test score Up to $13,000/year
Founders' Scholarship College Prep GPA, Class rank, Curriculum, Test score Up to $12,000/year
Director's Scholarship College Prep GPA, Class rank, Curriculum, Test score Up to $10,000/year
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer student. Phi Theta Kappa membership Up to $16,500/year
Named Endowed Scholarships

Named endowed scholarships underwrite the College’s financial aid program. They are awarded through the Office of the President in cooperation with Student Financial Services. Individual students cannot apply for specific scholarships. The funds awarded generally do not change the recipient’s total financial aid, but offer the distinction of an endowed scholarship award. Matching Programs

A student who receives funds for college from his/her church or from the Dollars for Scholars for program will also receive additional funds from Manchester University as listed below.

Multicultural Student Leadership Award Student of Color. Academic potential, leadership, character, and motivation Up to $2,000/year
Out of State Grant Awarded to non-Indiana residents (international students not eligible) $1,500/year
Entrepreneurship Scholarship Intended for first-year student. One-page essay. Application. $1,400 (with minimal variation)
Music Scholarship Limited number available for both vocal and instrumental music Up to $1,500/year
Manchester Grant Demonstrated financial need Determined by need and academic record

*Scholarship eligibility for the Connections Award is based on selection criteria at the time of first-year enrollment. Changes in criteria apply only to incoming first-year students.  Returning students may contact Student Financial Services for scholarship information or questions.

 

INDIANA STATE SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Indiana Hoosier Scholarships
This one-time, non-renewable scholarship of $500 applies only to the student's first year. However, recipients can receive the Manchester College Hoosier Scholarship award of $500 for each subsequent year.

Twenty-First Century Scholarships
Students must sign up in the 8th grade and participate throughout high school in the Twenty-First Century Scholars program to receive this scholarship.
