I already had a lot of great friends in high school, but coming to Manchester University has given me the tremendous opportunity to build friendships that I never would have had otherwise. You make friends from day one here – in classes, at athletic events, intramurals or other activities, or just hanging out at the Union to study or grab something to eat. Going to college might seem a little intimidating at first, but having friends makes it a whole lot easier, and I know the people I’ve met here will be friends for life!
