Brian Cashdollar returns for his 11th year as the head coach for cross country and his tenth year as the head coach for track and field. He has played an instrumental part in the rebuilding of both the cross country and track and field programs, bringing both in contention for a conference title each year.

A four-year letter winner and two-time captain for the track and field team at Ball State University, Cashdollar graduated with a degree in sports administration in 1999 from BSU before joining the Spartans coaching staff in 1999. He went on to receive his master's degree in school administration from IPFW in 2002.

Most noted for his energetic and enthusiastic practices, Cashdollar looks to stress the importance of hard work and strives teammates to encourage one another to help reach their fullest potential. By setting goals and maintaining positive attitudes, both the cross country and track and field teams excel athletically and academically.

He and his wife, Kim, reside in North Manchester with their daughters, Kambree and Ayla.

Name: Astin Steward

Astin Steward received her degree in psychology with a minor in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue University in 2008. She earned two USTFCCCA All-American awards and an NCAA All-American award following a 10th place finish in the discus at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championships. She also qualified for Nationals in the hammer throw that year. She holds the Purdue record in the hammer, discus and weight, and was Big 10 Champion in the discus in 2007.

She has served as an assistant coach for the Purdue Area Track and Field Club for kids in K-12 and has worked with Athletes in Action, assistant to the track and field coaching staff and a vacation bible school teaching aide. Astin is a native of Okemos, Michigan.

Name: Brad Yoder

Coach Yoder has had the opportunity to work with 44 national qualifiers, 18 All-Americans and 34 Academic All-Americans in his 17 years of coaching both cross country and track and field at Manchester College. Yoder's fourth place finish in 1991 and seventh place finish in 1997 at the U. S. National Marathon Championships, and countless age group wins at many road races have established him as an accomplished master athlete.

With his experience and guidance, the distance programs have gained conference, state, and national recognition. Yoder is a graduate of Goshen College. He earned a Master of Social Work from Indiana University and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He is a professor of sociology and social work at MC.
