Harassment/Sexual Violence Reporting
Harassment (including sexual harassment) refers to any unwelcome conduct, and/or unwelcome comments, written, spoken, signaled or transmitted electronically, which a reasonable person would find threatening, offensive, or intimidating, for reasons including but not limited to their national or ethnic origin, race, color, age, sex/gender, sexual orientation, physical characteristics, marital status, religion, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected status. Such actions can create a hostile educational or work environment.

Sexual violence refers to physical sexual acts perpetrated against a person's will or where a person is incapable of giving consent due to an intellectual or other disability. Acts that fall under this category include rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, and sexual coercion. All such acts are forms of sexual harassment covered under Title IX.
