Katie Hileman

Class of '10
Akron, Ind.

I never thought I would be challenged to rethink what I believe as a result of what I have learned here. Issues such as global warming, poverty, and local and national politics have prompted me to make significant changes in my life. I recycle, buy local products, and drive less. I carry a Feed the Children of the World bag to my classes and follow political issues from North Manchester to North Korea. Manchester has not only made a difference for me, it has made me who I am. Manchester has shaped my views, challenged me to succeed, and inspired me to change the world.

I have a great group of friends that I get to see a lot ... but there are always great new people to meet, too.
