Why I decided
to attend MC: |
FIRST OF ALL I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT WAS A SMALL COLLEGE AS SUCH I'LL GET TO KNOW THE PROFESSORS AND WILL BE ABLE TO GET THEIR ATTENTION IN CASE I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. I ALSO WANTED TO GO TO A NEW PLACE AND GET A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. AND OF COUSRE BE AWAY FROM THE CITY FOR A WHILE. |
My favorite things
about Manchester: |
THE PROFESSORS, OR SHOULD I SAY THE STAFF, THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY. MOST OF THEM TAKE THEIR TIME IN EXPLAINING AND MAKING SURE WE UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING THAT IS BEING TAUGHT IN CLASS. ALL OTHER PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE NICE AND TRY TO HELP IN ANY WAY THEY CAN. |
| I never
expected: |
TO ENROLL FOR A MUSIC AND ARTS CLASS FOR CREDIT. I'M A PRE-MED MAJOR AS SUCH I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD GET THE CHANCE TO ACTUALLY STUDY THE THINGS I LIKE TO DO AT LEAST NOT IN A COLLEGE. I REALLY ENJOY MY ARTS CLASS AND I LOVE MY PROFESSOR |
At Manchester
College, I found: |
FRIENDLY PROFESSORS. I JUST LIKE MY PROFESSORS AND THE ONES I SEE AROUND, THEY ARE SO ACCOMMODATING AND WELCOMING. |

I never expected my experiences at Manchester to shape who I am so drastically. I have learned to be more accepting of different views, to not only learn what I believe but also why, and to examine issues from other standpoints while continuing to stand for my own convictions. |
At Manchester
College, I found: |
At Manchester College I found amazing relationships. Not only with other students, but also with the faculty and staff. I know that I am not just a number here. The professors notice when you are in class and when you are not. Most importantly, though, they want to and will make great efforts to see their students succeed inside and outside of the classroom. |

My first choice was another university, but financially, Manchester offered better scholarships. I don't know where I would be without the experiences and frienships that I found here. |
My favorite things
about Manchester: |
I love the day-to-day rush. From people playing ultimate frisbee on the mall and opera rehearsal to comedians and dances, there's always something to do. I am always a little stressed, but pushed to do better, to work harder, and to be more involved in leadership activities. The greatest part of this is that I know that my professors will be there to help when I get overwhelmed. |

passion. I sang in Carnegie Hall and felt more love of music than at any other point in my life. I visited Costa Rica and learned to love not only Spanish, but discovered that I can’t wait to spend my life traveling. More than that, though, I found sleepless nights with my best friends, learning to laugh at ourselves and at life. I ran for student government offices, danced in my room in the middle of the night, and learned to let go. I found the passion of learning through experience and the realization of true friendship. I found my passion for life. |
