Why attend MU: I decided to attend MU because of the awesome faculty. When I visited MU my junior year of high school, I could see that the faculty had personal relationships with each of their students. That's something I didn't see at any of the other universities I visited.
Favorite thing: My favorite thing about being an MU student is the one-on-one time I get with my professors. I learn so much more than just what's going to be on the test!
Never expected: I never expected to volunteer in a third-world country. I traveled to Nicaragua during January term of my sophomore year for the medical practicum. It was definitely an experience I will never forget!
I found: At Manchester University, I found mentoring. I don't see my professors as just teachers, but also as great friends who do anything to help me.
