Why attend MU: I chose to attend MU because I wanted to have that small hometown feel. I didn't know how I would be able to adjust to the "big college" life so I chose something small and a place that I know can help me out whenever I need it.

Favorite thing: I love the small classes. The professors know who you are and if they know you, you know you're going to get the help you need.

Never expected: Make friends for LIFE! High school has come and gone and getting to know people from everywhere, I never thought I would be able to do that and some of my friends are going to be friends for life.

I found: Support. My first year here, it was rough. With my dad having health problems, I thought I was not going to be able to accomplish anything. I found support. Here at MU, you're going to find people to help you out when you're struggling. I was struggling in a difficult time, and I sought to find help and the support I needed to get this far. You really don't realize how much one person can make a difference in your life and that really life is easier when you have the resources at your hands.
