Why attend MU: For me it was a hard choice to pick my college that I wanted to attend. I had no idea what I wanted to major in and I assumed, for me at least, that I was going to spend 4 years at the place without transferring. I knew that I wanted to study abroad though. That was my must. The other places I was looking at did not have amazing study abroad programs, it cost a lot and there was a chance to lose whatever scholarship I received. Manchester University made it simple and easy for me to go someplace and made it work within my majors easily.

Favorite thing: January term hands down. I love being able to go other places and just experience them for the month. I have friends from other schools that only can wish to travel someplace else or don’t know how to. Here they make it easy and affordable to go someplace and learn more there than you would in a classroom about the same topic.

Never expected: Study the Mayan ruins. I’ve always wanted to and there are no classes on the topic. Being able to go to Mexico and learn about how they built the temples and their houses was amazing.

I found: At Manchester University, I found adventure. Traveling and being able to explore random places as you traveled, you never knew what was around the corner.
