Why attend MU: My mother moved here and I wanted to stay close to her. I first went to a large school and transferred to MU and found what I really needed.

Favorite thing: The fact I know I have a mini family of supportive people there for me. The Multicultural Center is my home away. Also the faculty goes above and beyond in helping students. I am proud to go to a college where the professors love what they do.

Never expected: I never thought I would have 3 different friends who grew up in different countries than me. I have eaten food from every coast in Africa.
