Halloween 2006
Community youngsters will find treats,
Haunted Forest on College campus
Children of North Manchester are in for goodies and screams on the
Manchester College campus this week and next.
All five residence halls are greeting Trick-or-Treaters from 6 to 8 p.m.
on Monday, Oct. 30, 2006. Children can expect treats at any door that sports a
special Trick-or-Treat logo in Schwalm, East, Garver, Oakwood and Helman
residence halls.
Meanwhile, perfectly frightful activities are occurring in the
woods north of the residence halls, where the Haunted Forest looms. Tour
guides will escort the fearless through scary sites within the Haunted
Forest between 6 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25 and Thursday, Oct. 26.
North Manchester Parks and Recreation is coordinating the woodsy fright,
with sites by local Scouts, Hardee’s restaurant and others. Cost of
admission is $3 for ages 13 and older; $2 for ages 3 to 12, and free to
toddlers. All proceeds go to the North Manchester Parks and Recreation
Department.
