new tastes to
Manchester College Dec. 7
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. (Nov. 25, 2003) - The
Sunday, Dec. 7 meal at the Manchester College Union will offer a
distinctly international flavor. As usual, the Sunday meal is open to
the community.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., guests can sample a buffet
of tastes from around the world, including Bangladesh, Germany, Japan,
Mexico, Kenya, Uganda and India. All the food - entrees, desserts and
beverages - will be cooked and prepared by Manchester College students.
Many of the international "chefs" will wear traditional clothing of
their countries.
The buffet - as well as a traditional Sunday meal -
is presented by Chartwells food service with the Manchester College
International Association and Office of Multicultural Affairs. More than
80 international students attend Manchester College, from 32 countries.
Tickets for the buffet are $7 for adults and $5 for
