Public invited to Manchester
College
senior recitals Friday, April 15
A Manchester College vocalist and a clarinetist will present their
senior recitals at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 15 in Wine Recital Hall. The
public is invited to the free recital, which is joined by a quartet of
area musicians.
Tenor James B. Hutchings of Wabash will sing and Jennifer E. Hann of
Peru will perform on clarinet.
James Hutchings’ selections will include Ombra mai fu by George
Frideric Handel, O del mio amato ben by Stephano Donaudy, En
Priere by Gabriel Faure, Meine Lieder by Johannes Brahms and
Vision Fugitive by Jules Massanet
Jennifer Hann will perform Solo de Concours by Henri Rabaud. And
with a quartet she will perform Six Studies in English Folksong
by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Suite by T. Stewart Smith.
The quartet is comprised of 2004 grad Michael Good on piano, and on
clarinet: MC Registrar Lila Hammer, Professor Mark Huntington and
Associate Professor Emeritus Robert Jones.
