Park
It's time for Sundae in the Park - a North
Manchester tradition of free ice cream sundaes and music by the
Manchester College Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band. The whole community
is invited to join in the fun.
The Saturday, May 8 community treat from Manchester
College begins at 2 p.m. in Warvel Park in North Manchester. (The party
will move into the Scout Hall on the park grounds if it rains.) No
reservations are necessary. Guests may want to bring lawn chairs or
blankets.
Under the direction of R. Scott Tomlison, assistant
professor of music, the concert will include Toccata Marziale by
Ralph Vaughan Williams, On a Hymnsong of Lowell Mason by David R.
Holsinger and El Capitan March by John Philip Sousa. |
