Taize worship with meditation, song

is Nov. 9 in Manchester College chapel

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. (Oct. 29, 2003) - Once again, Manchester College is offering a Taize service to the community in its Petersime Chapel. The worship, representative of daily prayer in the ecumenical community of Taize, France, begins at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 in Petersime Chapel on campus.

The Christian worship includes prayers, readings, songs and a benediction. Throughout the worship will be times of silence, meditation, reflection, music and sung responses. Manchester College will present music on flute, violin, guitar and piano.

The service, organized by Manchester College Religious Life, is open to the community
