Manchester student to present research
at huge political science conference
Manchester College senior Stacie Koch will present her research at the 70th annual conference of the Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago on April 12. She will join more than 5,000 presenters from throughout the United States and the world.
Koch investigated the impact of student and faculty racial and ethnic diversity on U.S. graduate students and faculties in various subject areas. An economics and social work major from Nappanee, Ind., she was mentored by Sreenath Majumder, assistant professor of economics, who will join her at the conference.
Koch also will present her paper, “Diversity and Knowledge Creation: An Empirical Investigation from U.S. Schools,” at the Manchester College Student Research Symposium on April 13. Koch is a regular on the Dean’s List at Manchester and is listed in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.
