[Frequently Asked Questions]

All courses proposed for inclusion in the Manchester Core require a completed application.  Please refer to the Core criteria.

Submission deadline for the 09/10 Catalog: February 1.

When filling out your application, be sure to explain how specific aspects, assignments, etc., of your course will address the relevant criteria.


If the application involves ...

... an existing course, then submit a recent syllabus as well.

... a modified course, then submit a Changes to a Catalog Course form as well.

... a new course, then submit either a New Catalog Course or a New Temporary Course form as well.


Once you complete the forms, please submit the signed paper copy to Kimberly Meyer (x5051) in the Office for Academic Affairs and email the electronic copy to the Registrar, Lila Hammer.

II (4 courses, 2 hrs total)

III (3 courses, at least one in each of the categories)

IVA (4 courses, in different disciplines)

IVB (3 courses, in different disciplines)

IVC (2 courses, in different disciplines)

V (1 course, + 40 VIA programs [1 hr total]).
