College Study Skills (IDIV 100)
1 semester hour credit

A course presenting college level study skills with opportunities for students to apply these skills in their current course texts. Specific topics include time management, note taking, vocabulary, text study techniques, test-taking, and memory strategies.

Other topics include:

  • College Expectations
  • Learning Styles and Assessments
  • Self-management
  • Educational and Career Planning

This course is offered during the fall and spring semesters and receives one (1) hour of college credit. Students are evaluated on a Pass (P), No Pass (NP) basis.
