How else can I
support MU?

Supporting MU Through Your Church

Manchester's values of learning, faith and service are as relevant in the 21st century as they were when the University was founded in 1889. A number of programs encourage students to explore their spirituality while pursuing their Manchester degree, and congregations are invited to support those most meaningful to them:

  • Mission Partnership Fund is the church's version of the annual fund which helps to pay for financial aid, energy costs, classroom technology, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and much more.

  • Peace Studies encourages students to explore the frontiers of nonviolent conflict resolution in our personal lives and international relations.

  • The Pathways program allows students to explore the intersection of faith and vocation through service and places students in homeless shelters, hospices, summers camps and other venues.

  • Campus Ministry creates diverse opportunities for students to deepen their faith through worship, fellowship, learning and service.

  • Church Matching Scholarship Fund enables churches to directly support students from their congregations with a match from Manchester up to $500.

  • Connections Scholarships worth $2,000 each year support full-time students who are Church of the Brethren members.
