Manchester University Alumni Association and Office of University Advancement recently created a YouTube contest that focused on philanthropy. For this contest, current students were challenged to make a video that educated audiences about philanthropy, its impact, and their personal experience with philanthropy.

Through this challenge, the Model United Nations club, or MUN, (represented by students Ben Tapper, Pooja Shrestha, Alma Rodriguez, Bashar Algharabeh, and Hajer Dlame) filmed the video "The Planter- A Story of Philanthropy."As a result of their quality work, MUN club won $500 to help fund their recent trip to Harvard University National Model United Nations program.
