Gender Café

The mission of Gender Café is to promote awareness, discussion and education of gender issues in many facets of life within the Manchester community. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in gender issues. Both those seeking to become activists and those who simply have a desire to become more aware of the problems men and women confront because of the ways in which gender is constructed are welcome. Meetings are held once a month. Questions may be referred to the Gender Café advisor, Professor Dagny Boebel (x5391).
