SATURDAY, AUG. 25

8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!
Move into your Residence Halls
To begin moving in, please check in at your residence hall front desk to receive your welcome week packet and room key.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
Lunch – Union

1:30 – 3:15 p.m.
You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. Transfer and commuter student orientation – Flory Auditorium
Transfer and commuter students hear about issues specific to their university experience.

3:30 – 4:30 p.m.  Today you are you, that is truer than true.  There is no one alive who is
you-er than you!
Welcome Session - Cordier Auditorium
Hear welcoming remarks from President Jo Young Switzer, Vice President for Student Developmentt Beth Sweitzer-Riley, as well as the introduction of the Student Orientation Leaders (SOLs).  Also, learn more about the traditions and values of your university.

4:30 – 5 p.m. You’re on your own, and you know what you know, and YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go.
Parent & Family Departure

5 - 6 p.m. If things start happening, don't worry, don't stew, just go right along and YOU’LL start happening too.       
SOL group meetings - Meet your SOL group on the Mall for your first SOL group meeting!

6 – 7 p.m.  Dinner – Union - Haist Commons

9 – 10:30 a.m. With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you’re too smart to go down just any old street.
Transfer student session (to be led by Admissions) 

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. I bet you know a thing or two.  You’re supersmart!  I’m proud of you!

2 – 2:50 p.m. Things may happen, and often do, to people as brainy and footsy as you.
Continued class discussion/group meeting with your academic advisor – sign up for individual appointment with your academic advisor   

3 – 6 p.m. Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!

10 p.m.  Oh the places you'll go! There is fun to be done! There are points to be scored.  There are games to be won. And the magical things you can do with that ball will make you the winning-est winner of all.
Battle of the Ballerz - 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament – PERC

TUESDAY, AUG. 28

3 p.m. So, be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s a great balancing act. And will you succeed? Yes indeed!  Yes indeed!  Ninety-eight and three-quarters percent guaranteed!  Kid, you’ll move mountains.
