| Campus Ministry Staff
The campus ministry staff for the 2007-08 school year includes:
Dr. Steven Crain, campus pastor
Dr. Crain has taught theology and philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, St. Mary's College, Valparaiso University, IPFW and Washington University in St. Louis. He has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Stanford University and a master’s from Fuller Theological Seminary. He holds a master’s and Ph.D. in theology, and a master's in history and philosophy of science from Notre Dame, where he specialized in religion and science issues.
“My faith was formed in Protestant Evangelicalism, Anglo-Catholicism, and in the physics lab,” he said. “I have found a home in the Church of the Brethren.” SDCrain@manchester.edu
Sr. Jacinta Krecek, Catholic campus minister
Sr. Jacinta is a Sister of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, living in Fort Wayne. Employed by the Catholic diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend in the Office of Campus/Young Adult Ministry, she meets students on various campuses and organizes retreats, spiritual, social & service opportunities. “Our aim is to assist young people in answering God’s call to holiness, community, and service. I enjoy meeting and connecting people with one another. Together we can make a difference!” JKrecek@manchester.edu
