The mission of Manchester University Health Services is to enhance health, safety and wellness of students by providing compassionate and quality healthcare services to students. Health Services strives to allow students to flourish academically by meeting their healthcare needs in a cost-efficient, confidential and timely manner.
The Office of Student Affairs works closely with Health Services with the coordination of health and immunization records and health insurance. However, due to challenges of location and hours available, their staff does not typically provide care to students on the Fort Wayne campus . Therefore, students can utilize the variety of health care facilities in the Fort Wayne area for any health care needs. For a list of local health care providers and facilities, please click here.

Health and Immunization Record
All College of Pharmacy students are required to have completed the following; personal health history, physical exam, and immunization record. The health history form is provided electronically to all incoming students prior to enrollment. The physical exam and immunization records (with all supporting documentation) must be on file prior to the start of fall semester classes. Students upload all documentation into the RxPreceptor system during the summer prior to the start of fall classes, and utilize the system to manage these records during their four years in the program and post-graduation.Health Insurance
Manchester University requires all College of Pharmacy students to have an active health insurance plan in effect while enrolled. All students must complete the online Waiver/Enrollment Form by Aug. 1 whether they plan to subscribe to the University's insurance, or whether they plan to waive it. The University uses Bollinger as their insurance provider.
Students who have insurance coverage through the University must still file a claim for each provider visit. However, unlike students on the North Manchester campus, pharmacy students can specify they are out of the area on claim paperwork and avoid meeting with the director of health services. The Office of Wellness Services is available to pharmacy students for guidance on how to file a claim or for answers to general health questions.
