Help dig into the College of Pharmacy at Aug. 4
Fort Wayne groundbreaking ceremony
Community, health care and education leaders will join the College and its donors and friends to formally break ground Thursday, Aug. 4 on a world-class educational and research facility – the Manchester University College of Pharmacy in Fort Wayne.
Alumni are invited to join the party, grab a shovel and hard hat and personally dig into the professional doctoral program in pharmacy. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. on the construction site at Diebold and Dupont roads, adjacent to Parkview Regional Medical Center.
An aggressive one-year construction schedule has the project on-pace for the School’s first 70 students in August 2012. General contractor Michael Kinder & Sons Inc. of Fort Wayne already is clearing ground for the 80,000-square-foot structure designed by Design Collaborative of Fort Wayne.
Naming opportunities remain for the College of Pharmacy – for classrooms, laboratories and offices, for example. To learn more about giving to the College of Pharmacy, connect at 260-470-2651 or 260-470-2700 | firstname.lastname@example.org.
