Counseling Services

Students may face many personal challenges during their years in the pharmacy program. The College recognizes this and provides free, confidential counseling services. Counseling services are available by appointment through the Office of Student Affairs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., during the academic year. Short term counseling or referral to an appropriate resource in the area will be provided. In addition, the Office of Student Affairs provides consultation when members of the College of Pharmacy community have concerns about the mental health and well-being of one of our students. Consultations may be provided to students, staff and faculty to discuss questions or concerns about a student’s well-being.

The College works closely with Counseling Services on the North Manchester campus to provide additional support services if needed, utilizing both face-to-face communication and Skype.  In addition, both Counseling Services and the Office of Student Affairs maintain relationships with counseling professionals in the Fort Wayne area if additional assistance is necessary.
