University Student Services
In conjunction with the curriculum, students learn a great deal about their chosen profession through the variety of professional pharmacy organizations that exist. Organizational involvement provides students with opportunities to not only learn about various career opportunities, but to also develop their leadership skills and professionalism.
Students are encouraged to participate in all student organizations. In addition, the formation of new student organizations is supported as well. Starting in Fall 2014, six pharmacy student organizations exist with a number of new organizations being added annually in the future.
In addition to the student organizations, students may also be involved as a class officer or a member of the Pharmacy Student Senate. Each class will hold elections for six class officers: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, activities coordinator, and honor council representative. The Pharmacy Student Senate is the governing body for the College of Pharmacy student body. Representation will consist of individuals from each class, student organization and service group and the Pharmacy Student Senate will form in Fall 2014.
