Starting October 1, 2016…
It’s time to complete your 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Significant changes have been made to the FAFSA process. Starting Oct. 1, 2016, students and their families can report tax income information from an earlier tax year, rather than just the prior tax year, as was previously the case.
Now, instead of having to wait until near April for taxes to be filed, you can file your FAFSA as early as Oct. 1, using your tax information from two years ago.
This enables you and your family to get your financial aid packages earlier than ever to make important decisions about college.
Go to http://fafsa.gov and file your FAFSA today!
