That’s the Manchester Triple Guarantee.


Financial aid for all full-time students, and full tuition for academically strong low-income students who live in Indiana DETAILS

To be eligible for financial aid, students must:

  • Be seeking their first bachelor’s degree and enrolled full time.
  • File the FAFSA by the Indiana deadline.
  • Maintain academic good standing and make satisfactory academic progress each year.

To be eligible for full tuition, students must also:

  • Have graduated from high school with a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA.
  • Be eligible for Indiana state financial aid each year.
  • Be eligible for federal Pell grant funds each year.

“Full tuition” means that if all federal, state, Manchester and outside scholarships and grants don’t add up to the full cost of tuition, Manchester will make up the difference with additional grant aid.

Graduation within four years for all full-time students, or pay no tuition for credits needed to graduate in five years DETAILS

To be eligible, students must:

  • Begin their full time college career at Manchester (transfers are not eligible).
  • Take responsibility for knowing degree and major requirements.
  • Review their plan of study regularly with their academic advisor, especially during their first and second years.
  • Notify their advisor promptly of changes in their plan of study.
  • Submit the Election of Major form in the spring of their second year.
  • Register for classes during the College’s published registration period.
  • Complete an average of 32 semester hours each academic year.
  • Earn grades sufficient to allow them to enroll in the next level of required courses in order not to repeat courses.

Students who change majors or pursue multiple majors or minors are not eligible for the guarantee, but most are still able to graduate in four years. Manchester will provide:

  • Complete and accurate information about degree and major requirements.
  • Qualified academic advisors.
  • Timely access to courses required for students’ degrees.

In the event that a student has met all requirements and is unable to complete the degree in four years or less, Manchester will:

  • Pay tuition for any required courses taken at Manchester to complete a student’s major or degree. The student will be responsible for all room and board expenses, books and other charges and fees.

A job or enrollment in graduate school within six months of graduation, or return for a full year tuition-free DETAILS

To be eligible, students must:

  • Aggressively seek employment or admission to graduate school.
  • Complete an internship and/or successful campus employment.
  • Participate in at least one significant campus extracurricular activity and/or extensive volunteer service.
  • Fully utilize Office of Career Services career assistance and employment preparation.
  • Receive a positive letter of recommendation from their academic advisor.

To be eligible for any of the guarantees, students must:

  • Maintain academic good standing and make satisfactory academic progress each year.
  • Remain in good disciplinary standing.
  • Meet published Manchester payment deadlines.
