At Manchester, I found direction. At first, I was unsure about my future. Right away, the warm and friendly environment put me at ease. Then my professors encouraged me to explore my talents and develop new interests. Everyone here works together to help students excel and be the best they can be. I’m a good example. It’s such a good feeling to know the path I want to take. I’ve simply discovered a whole new world.

Every day, Manchester College students are finding their place—and much more. Like the psychology major who found a passion for working with dolphins. The biology-chemistry major who found a love of theater. Or the accounting major who found the opportunity to play basketball. As Andy Burton, Class of 2009, said, “At Manchester College, I found just what I need.”

Finding your place comes from working side by side with faculty who know you well enough to help answer the important questions about your future. Gaining the skills and knowledge needed to analyze problems, develop solutions and get others on board with your ideas. Succeeding in landing an internship and the job you’ve always wanted. Preparing to make your mark in the world.

As Melissa Webb, Class of 2009, said, “Since I have been here, I have realized who I am and what I want to be. Manchester has opened up so many doors for me and allowed me to take advantage of many opportunities to find myself.”
