Results that set us apart.
Manchester College has an exceptional track record of preparing students for what comes next – whether it’s law school, medical school, graduate school or straight
into a career. In fact, over the last five years, 96.2 percent of our graduates have entered the work force, continued their education or are in full-time voluntary
service within six months of graduating. Here are just a few of our programs that stand among the best in the country.
Accounting
The average starting salary reported by 2008 accounting graduates was $46,125, and preliminary data for 2009 graduates indicates that this number will rise by perhaps as much as $2,000.
Biology-chemistry (Pre-medicine)
Over the last 10 years, 70 percent of Manchester students who applied to medical school were accepted. That’s well above the national average of 45 percent.
Education
In the past four years, 100 percent of our graduates
have successfully completed their internship (first year)
of teaching and moved on to the professional level
of licensing.
Pre-law
Over the last 10 years, 75 percent of students who
applied to law school have gained admission, compared
to 63 percent nationally.
Athletic training
Manchester offers a CAATE-accredited athletic training
education program that features extensive, hands-on
clinical experience and internship possibilities in a variety
of health care settings. Of those graduates who pass the
national certification examination, most are employed as
certified athletic trainers or are admitted into graduate
programs for continued study.
Psychology
Over the last 10 years, 89 percent of graduating
seniors who applied to graduate school were accepted,
compared to a national average of less than 50 percent. |
