Bio History Note

Professor Keim taught History, Accounting, and Political Science at Manchester College from 1927 - 1964. He died 26 October 1975.

This tour started at North Manchester and proceeded down the Wabash and Mississinewa Rivers as far as Lafayette.  There was a visit to Crawfordsville with a swing into Illinois to include Starved Rock, Springfield, and New Salem.  There was a return to Terre Haute and days in Vincennes, New Harmony, Lincoln City and Corydon.  Points in Kentucky were then included, followed by sites in the southeast part of Indiana.  The tour worked its way northward to Fort Wayne and to places in Northwestern Ohio.  After Detroit and St. Joseph in Michigan, the tour ventured to Chicago to see the "Century of Progress Exposition."  Including the return to North Manchester, the historical adventure covered nearly three thousand miles. A map is included with the brochure.
