Scope and Content

Wabash Plain Dealer article, 21 May 1973, "Success Slump, Tells Graduates."  Dr. J. Irwin Miller was the commencement speaker for the 1973 Commencement.  This article recaps Miller's address and also reports on a silent student protest. 

Another article on the same page states four recipients of the "Outstanding Alumni Award."  Recipients were Glen H. Fisher, J. Wilbur Haley, Rev. Perry Lee Huffaker and Mrs. Everett Fisher, the former Gletha Mae Noffsinger.
