The periodical's aim was to keep concerned persons informed about the CPS program; legislation under consideration by the Congress which related to C. O.'s; relations with the U. S. Treasury Department; the Office of Civilian Defense; the financial problems of the program and the parole and appeal situation. "The Reporter" replaced the "Camp Information Bulletin" and the general "Bulletin."
