Scope and Content

It appears that two unrelated recordings are on one reel-to-reel audio tape.  The first, on Track #1, presents readings by students for the study of oral interpretation.  The inclusion of student, Frank Barkdoll, on the tape would date his reading as taking place somewhere between 1959 and 1963.

Track #2 is of an ASCD education meeting featuring Harold Taylor and Gardner Murphy.

One reel-to-reel audio tape and two CDs.

Date of Accession02 February 2011
Bio History Note

Harold Taylor is introduced at the meeting as a philospher, a musician, a tennin player and an educator.

Archivist Note

Reel-to-reel audio tape transferred to CD by Instructional Technologies Department in December 2010 or January 2011. Wave Sound file created from CD transferred to Archives' Network [W] in October 2016.  Reel-to-reel tape discarded by Jeanine Wine October 2016 because the best possible digital copy had been made and the tape was only in a state of disintegration.
