Bio History Note

This CD is a recording of a conference that took place at Indiana University.  The topic of the conference deals with the correction of cultural biases to effectively prepare students for the real world. Two primary speakers were present, the third was unable to attend.

Dr. ( ) Entonces (Detonces?) (spelling?) speaks on Cultural Pluralism and Ethnic Studies, a Latino's Perspective.

Dr. William Harris (spelling?) talks about: Teaching Undergraduate Afro-American Studies.

Sheldon Geller, Indiana University.

On the second CD, a speaker talks about teaching culture in a multi-cultural society like the United States. Emphasis is on Afro-American culture.  Latino American culture is also spoken about.

Archivist Note

Reel-to-reel audio tape transferred to CD by Instructional Technologies Department in December 2010 or January 2011. A Wave Sound file was created from the CD by Instructional Technologies in October 2016 and the reel-to-reel tape was discarded by Jeanine Wine because the best possible copy had been made and the tape was only in a state of deterioration.
