Scope and Content

..."Childhood is a time of innocence, "with change and wonder. The narrator describes stages of childhood and lighthearted music is interposed.  This might have been the audio for a slide show. Listening to the music one might think this was recorded in the 1950s or 1960s.  There is a crazy segment of tongue-twisters in the middle and then the continuation of..... "Childhood is a place of dreams..." Perhaps the tape was spliced incorrectly.

One reel-to-reel audio tape and acompanying CD.

Date of Accession09 March 2011
Bio History NoteA section of the tape is different than the rest...a series of tongue-twisters.  Perhaps this is a recording for a class on speech or communication.
Archivist Note

Reel-to-reel audio tape transferred to CD by Instructional Technologies Department in March 2011. Audio tape discarded in November 2016 by Jeanine Wine after a digital Wave Sound file was created.

A note by the technologist says "Backwards taped). This tape was spliced backwards in segments so that the technologist had to resplice it.

Description prepared 9 March 2011 by Jeanine M. Wine.
