Ohio-Indiana Funderburg Family Reunion Minutes, 1917-1942 (Reunions 1-23).

Bio History Note

Title page reads, "Property of the Funderburg Family, New Carlisle Ohio, August 14, 1919.

The book includes handwritten names on an extensive mailing list along with names of corresponding towns that served as "addresses." A typed list is inserted.

Pg. 48 records the minutes of the first annual meeting held in Celina, Ohio on 6 October 1917. Family history can be obtained from reading these minutes, eg. on page 54:

"A most interesting program was given during the afternoon, by Rev. Cyrus Funderburg and J. D. Funderburg, which was an extended history of the first member of the family who came to America, early in the Seventeenth century. These were Walter and Cath----- Funderburg  who came from Germany and settled in Frederick City - Maryland.  From this family, direct-lineage was  ------  through four generations."

This gift was shelved in the Archives, North Shelving Unit, IS.  A card taped on the front of the book states: "Deposited in the Brethren Collection at Manchester College, 1978, by Alvin K. Funderburg, as a gift from Mrs. Luella Baker, 6007 Sebring Warner Road, Grenville, Ohio 45331.
