Scope and Content

The boxes contain committee minutes, financial records, and descriptions of events.  An autographed program by Dr. William Sloane Coffin is included. 

In this box there is a volume entitled, "Manchester College Humanities Symposium, April 30 - May 6, 1990," (MC2007/177) and the papers composing it constitute part of the Humanities Division's contribution to the celebration.

Bio History Note

In 1989, Manchester College celebrated its 100th anniversary.  The Faith Lecture featured Dr. William Sloane Coffin, former senior minister, Riverside Church, New York City, speaking about "Faith For Our Future,"  5 March, 1989, Cordier Auditorium.  Dr. Robert W. Neff, President of Juniata College, gave the Founders Day Convocation on 6 November 1989.
