Bio History Note

The Manchester Symphony Society in cooperation with Manchester College sponsors a community-oriented symphony called the Manchester Symphony Orchestra.   North Manchester has been the smallest community in the United States to support a full symphony orchestra. This collection contains brochures, schedules and programs.

Professor Jim Adams reports that there have also been guest conductors when the regular conductor was on leave. One of these was John Berry. Professor emeritus Adams believes that this was during the tenure of Robert Jones.
