Bio History Note

A. Blair Helman served as Manchester College President from 1956-1986.

The Indiana Academy was created on 13 November 1970 as an honorary society, meant to "enrich the cultural life of [Indiana's] citizens."  The Academy recognized "individual leadership, achievement, and philanthropy."
