  • Sister to Jean Childs Young (Manchester College alumna, 1954). Jean is the wife of civil rights activist and politician, Andrew Young.
  • Sister to Cora Ann Childs (Manchester College alumna, 1951).
  • Notation in Oak Leaves 19 April 1956 regarding the engagement of Norma Louise Childs.
