See Muir [Gladdys] Peace House & Garden.  This home was built in 1929 by the Rarick's.

Rarick, in the Funderburg Library, Manchester Peace 922.869Su73r for a chronicle of "the development of the ’Rarick Retreat and Sunken Garden’--from the original purchase of the lot . . . through the subsequent years of dedicated labor in turning that lot in to ’spot of beauty;’ and the ultimate building of the house in 1929."
