Faculty Meeting Minutes 16 September 1919 - 19 May 1925.

1.  1924: Handwritten notes from 30 September, 14 October, 28 October and 18 November 1924 Faculty Meetings.

2.  Roll Call of Churches and names.

3.  Notecard naming those on the Committee on Freshmen and the Committee to Study Cheating.

4. Manchester College Bulleting, August 1923, Vol. 16, No. 94.

5.  Mimeographed page 6 May 1924 with resolutions passed by the Faculty.

6.  Two lists of faculty

7. "Received to Credit of Promotion Expense Account" with names and churches and money spent.

8. "Expenditures, Endowment Fund, Promotion Account."

9.  Minutes or notes for 23 November 19123, 27 September 1921, 14 February 1922, 7 November 1922,  and 23 September 1924.

10. Stationery from Manchester College Music School with two hand-drawn designs for an acorn pin.  A Pin Committee had been appointed to create the pin.

11. Recommendation that there be no valedictorian, but that special recognition be given for high scholarship by awarding graduates of the Liberal Arts course the honors "With Distinction" and "With High Distinction."

12.  Discussion of National Education Association on the verso of the record of Ada McPherson, 1923. (Confidential).

13. Faculty Regulations circa 1924.

Resolutions from MC2012/17b #5:

  • Supervision of social events.
  • Limitations on the numbers of plays a student can participate in during the year. (to 2 a year and not more than 1 a term)
  • Recommendation to limit the number of plays to three a year.
  • That the Athletic Committee confine athletic contests to the Week Ends.
  • Not all students should attend all public functions and suggest Faculty members be judicious in urging participation from the platform of the Chapel.
