Bio History NoteForrest E. Reed began teaching at Manchester College in 1927.  He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.  As a recognition of his able and dedicated service to Christian higher education, Professor Reed was awarded the Distinguished Service Certificate of the Christian Education Commission of the General Brotherhoos Board of the Church of the Brethren [23 June 1966].
