Scope and Content1. One letter and envelope written by Alice King Ebey to Miss Edith Miller, North Manchester, Indiana.  The letter is writen from Ashton Dale, Landour, India, 28 April 1924(? the date is unclear...another year is written in hand on the verso of the envelope, and it is also unclear?).

Bio History Note

Alice King Ebey (former teacher at Manchester College) and her husband (former Manchester College student) were missionaries to India through the Church of the Brethren.  See the Alice King Ebey diaries.

Edith Miller was sister to Ida and Bertha Miller.  Ida Miller married Otho Winger, former President of Manchester College.  See Edith Miller and Otho Winger (faculty/staff).
