Bio History Note

Plans for renovating the old library building into the Communications Center following the construction of Funderburg Library in 1966.

The Communications Building was demolished in 2009.

Following is a History of the Communications Center

  • The original  building was erected in 1915 as a Science Hall.
    • 1st Fl. domestic science, physics, biology
    • 2nd (-----)(cl)ass rooms
  • In 1926 it became the Library.
  • The campus "museum" was housed in the basement.
  • The Communications Building (Center) was demolished in 2009.
